: Ability to read 3-4 letter Arabic words OR prior completion of the Learn To Read Quran Course
Welcome to the Classical Arabic Course!
In this course, you will embark on a journey to explore the rich linguistic and cultural heritage of the Arabic language, particularly in its classical form.
Classical Arabic, the language of the Quran, classical literature, and early Islamic texts, remains the cornerstone of Islamic literature and thought.
Daar Aisha takes great care to cater to those interested in the Arabic language, to support and expand their knowledge and engagement with the holy Quran and Hadith.
The course provides the basic skills required (listening, reading, speaking, and writing) to learn the Arabic language in a comprehensive and eloquent way as the first step towards understanding the Quran and Hadith.
The course encourages you to delve into the tapestry of the Arabic language.

Description

This course has a pre-requisites. You must complete: 2024 - Learn To Read The Qur'an (or qualify with similar course in order to attend this course.)
The complete Classical Arabic Language Course at Daar Aisha College is a learning process with the following three levels:
Beginners’ level: (offered in 2025)
This is the stage of developing the basic foundational skills of the Arabic language through Book 1 (Al-Arabiyah bayna yadaik).
This level includes the percentage of 40% listening, 40% speaking, 5% reading, 5% writing, and 10% Quranic words.
Intermediate level: (offered in 2025)
This level focuses on the personal usage of the language, it is the stage of building on and expanding the basic skills and foundation developed in the previous level and increasing the student’s vocabulary. It includes 35% listening, 35% speaking, 10% reading, 5% writing, 15% Quranic words.
Advanced level: (offered in 2026)
This is the first step in mastering the language and improving linguistic knowledge. This includes 30% listening, 30% speaking, 10% reading, 10% writing and 20% Quranic words.
The duration of each level is one year.
The complete course duration is 3 years.
